This mini five string piccolo kantele was hand made in Finland and is marked Kaustisen Soitinverstas.
It measures 11 1/2" long and 2 5/8" wide, and has a solid body made from alder wood. It has a beautiful sound and is in pristine vintage condition.
Kanteles are Finnish instruments that have been used for centuries for playing traditional folk music. They come in many sizes, with this one being the smallest with the highest octave.
