Vintage Ceramic Covered Bowl with Whimsical Camel Design, Janet Brome Animal Pottery

This unique whimsical covered ceramic bowl was made by Virginia artist Janet Brome in the late 1970's. This is one of her earlier works. It features an orangish brown speckled glaze on the outside, and solid white glaze on the inside, and a camel head profile on the lid. The bottom is signed by the artist.
The bowl measures 6" wide, 3" high without the lid, and 4" high with the lid on. It is in pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or wear marks.
