This large vintage ceramic hand painted woven basket would make a lovely bread basket, a decorative holder for bathroom guest towels, or catchall for mail / odds and ends. It was made in Portugal, and features two pink glazed bands around it with a polka dot bow on the front.
It measures 13 3/8" long, 9 1/4" wide, and 8 1/2" tall with the handle. It is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or crazing, but there is one small chip on the underside of the edge as pictured. The chip is not visible unless you turn it over.
