This adorable stained glass turtle suncatcher is made with a beautiful purple and gold swirled Youghiogheny art glass for the shell, and a textured purple cathedral art glass for the head and legs. It measures 5.25 inches x 5.25 inches, with a hanging length of 6 3/4" inches and comes ready to hang with a ribbon and suction cup hanger. You can also remove the ribbon and hang it directly from the ring attached if you prefer. The solder is silver colored but will look darker in a lighted window.
This piece is made to order, so the color variations in yours will be different than the one pictured. Also, as is typical with Youghiogheny glass, there are striations and an uneven texture in the glass (best seen in the last photo) that creates the unique appearance for which this glass is renowned. This will ship within 5 business days from the date of purchase.
Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
