Stained Glass Sea Turtle Suncatcher, Blue Youghiogheny Glass

This adorable stained glass turtle suncatcher is made with a beautiful blue/green/pink swirled Youghiogheny art glass for the shell, and a textured blue cathedral art glass for the head and legs. It measures 5.25 inches x 5.25 inches, with a hanging length of 6 3/4" inches and comes ready to hang with a ribbon and suction cup hanger. You can also remove the ribbon and hang it directly from the ring attached if you prefer. The solder is silver colored but will look darker in a lighted window.

You will receive the piece pictured, as this type of glass varies so much that each one is a one of a kind. As is characteristic of Youghiogheny art glass, there are striations and bubbles in the glass that give it the luminous appearance for which it is renowned.

Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
