This stunning vintage fused glass tray features a reproduction of Wassily Kandinsky's 1924 abstract painting "Yellow Point".

It measures 9 7/8" long, 7 7/8" wide, and 1" high.  The glass has an intentional slightly bumpy texture, with a few bubbles and other anomalies typically found in fused glass art.  It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or wear of the design.  There are a few scratches near the center in the white area that are only noticeable if held up to a bright light.  Display stand is not included.

This is the perfect size for serving appetizers, sushi, or anything else, but also makes a beautiful and unique display piece.

Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian-born painter and art theorist who is widely considered a pioneer of abstraction in Western art. His work, inspired by artists like Picasso, Monet and Matisse, moved beyond figurative forms to planes of innovative color and line. He used color, line, shape, and texture to create rhythmic visuals that evoked emotional responses.  He lived from 1866-1944.

Please note that vintage and hand blown glass pieces may have manufacturing flaws such as air bubbles, seams, pontil marks, and other imperfections. These anomalies are not considered damage as they are inherent to the methods and/or the time period in which they were made.
