Vintage Santini White Alabaster Doves, Set of Two, Italian Love Bird Figurines

This beautiful pair of white alabaster doves were made in the 1950's by Amilcare Santini of Italy, whose sculptures and decorative pieces can be found across the world. As with all of his work, these doves are made of a compound of marble, alabaster, and resin that has been poured into a mold and then finished by hand. The A. Santini name is carved into the wing of each bird, and each one is in a different pose.
They measure approximately 4 1/2" long, 3" wide, 3 1/2" high, and are in excellent vintage condition with the intricate details mostly in tact. One wing appears to have been slightly tipped.
They would make a beautiful and symbolic wedding gift!
