Vintage Red Hat Society Enamel Pin Pendant Charm

This vibrant red hat pin with a purple ribbon in the classic logo of the Red Hat Society. It has both a pin and a loop on the back for use as a brooch, pendant, or charm.
It measures 2 3/8" long, 1 1/8" tall, and has "MJ" stamped on the back, which may represent Marie Jennifer, a jewelry company known to make these types of pins. It is in excellent vintage condition.
I am unsure of the silver colored metal, but silver polish did remove much of the tarnish on the back so it may be silver plated.
