These shimmery translucent white glass plates were made by MacBeth Evans in the 1930's in their trademark Monax glass--an ultra thin but durable glass that is the predecessor of Corelle, as they were bought out by Corning Glass in the late 1930's. They feature scalloped edges and an ornate scroll design border, with a solid white center.
They measure 8" wide and are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and some light wear marks. They're the perfect size for serving salads, desserts, appetizers, snacks, or anything else!
I have two sets of 4 available, and will refund excess shipping if you purchase both sets in the same order.
Please note that vintage and hand blown glass pieces may have manufacturing flaws such as air bubbles, seams, pontil marks, and other imperfections. These anomalies are not considered damage as they are inherent to the methods and/or the time period in which they were made.
