Vintage Hand Painted Italian Majolica Ceramic Covered Sugar and Creamer Pitcher Set, Bird Floral Motif

This gorgeous hand painted majolica ceramic covered sugar bowl and creamer pitcher were made in Italy and imported by New York Based Mittledorfer-Strauss in their Peasant Village (PV) line. They feature a vibrant bird, grapes, and floral motif in teal, gold, purple and blue on a white background with teal banding.
The bowl measures 3 7/8" across, 5 3/8" wide including the handles, and 4" high with the lid. The creamer measures 4 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" across, and 4 3/8" wide from spout to handle. They are both in very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Please note there is a small spot on the inside bottom of the sugar bowl where the glaze is worn off as pictured.
