This solid wood hand crafted display box is more beautiful than the pictures show. It was rescued from an estate sale, so I'm unsure of the type of wood used, but would guess walnut.
It measures 13 3/8" long, 8 7/8" wide, 3 1/8" high, and weighs over 5 pounds. There is a clear glass viewing window on top, and a lined slide out drawer with notches for dividers if desired. (No dividers are included). The drawer slides out very easily--so much so that you have to be careful when moving the box and tilt it so that it doesn't fall out.
There are a few spots where the finish is slightly worn, but it is otherwise in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Please see all photos for condition details.
This would be perfect for displaying jewelry, or any collection of items you may have that you want to enjoy seeing while keeping them protected.
