Vintage Hand Blown Green Swirl Wine Glass, Jamestown Glasshouse Reproduction

This elegant Colonial green wine glass was hand blown by local artisans at the Jamestown Glasshouse in Virginia. It is a historical replica, modeled after a sketch by John Greene, a member of the Glass Sellers Company, between 1667 and 1672. Measuring 5.25" high and 3.5" wide at the top, it features a broad foot with circles lining the edge that fade to a swirling design that travels through the short stem all the way to the wide flute opening.

This piece is used, but in excellent vintage condition. Note that there are some dark areas on the foot of the glass which I am unsure whether they are due to minor damage or irregularities that occurred during its creation--which is common in hand blown glass.
