This vintage art glass table lighter has beautiful shades of rose red fading to clear and then changing to light blue on the base. I cannot confirm the maker, but it is in the style of Murano.
There is a wick in the lighter mechanism, but I cannot confirm if it works when filled with fluid. The lighter mechanism is marked "Japan", which I've read is typical for glass lighters made by Murano and other glass makers to use in these pieces. It measures 5 1/4" high, 3 1/2" wide, and weighs one pound. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Please note that vintage and hand blown glass pieces may have manufacturing flaws such as air bubbles, seams, pontil marks, and other imperfections. These anomalies are not considered damage as they are inherent to the methods and/or the time period in which they were made.
