These vintage clear glass ashtrays were made by Anchor Hocking in their Nova pattern in the 1970's. They are also known as "Boopie glass". They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Their unique bubble design picks up and reflects nearby colors making them beautiful display pieces too! These are being sold as a set of two, so you will receive both pictured.
Though originally made to be used as ashtrays, these mid century modern pieces would also make perfect drink coasters or candle holders! They measure 5" wide and 1" high, with the inset ring measuring 2.5" wide so can accommodate glasses or candles that are 2.5" wide or less. Each one weighs a hefty 1 pound, 4 ounces making them equally as functional as a funky paperweight that can also hold your paperclips!
