The perfect window decoration for any New York City native, this stained glass suncatcher depicts an accurate outline of New York City's current skyline in the city's official flag colors. It's made with blue and orange textured cathedral art glass and black opalescent art glass, with a white ribbon attached for hanging. A twisted wire spire sits atop of the new World Trade Center building. The ribbon can also be removed and it can be perched on a windowsill or displayed in a stand. It measures 8 3/4" tall by 8 1/4" wide, with a hanging length of 9 1/2", and comes ready to hang with a suction cup hanger. The solder is silver colored but will look darker in a lighted window.
Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
