This gorgeous ceramic vase is a prime example of Mitch Lyons' earlier work (1960s), before he switched over to clay monoprint art. It features intertwined walking figures with a rough textured outer surface and smooth glazed interior.
It measures 7" tall, 3 1/2" wide at the base, and 2 3/4" wide at the mouth. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
About the artist: Mitch Lyons 1938 - 2018. Mitch lived in New London, PA for over 40 years. He had a huge impact on the art world with his unique pottery and clay monoprint technique.
