Antique John Higbee Delta Thistle 9 3/4 In Clear Pressed Glass Pedestal Cake Stand with Scalloped Lip, Vintage EAPG Pastry Dessert Plate

This antique pedestal cake stand with rim was made by the John B. Higbee  Glass Company in their Delta pattern (aka Paneled Thistle), introduced in 1911.  It features a floral design on the top (raised underneath), scalloped lip edge, a striated design on the pedestal and paneled base.  It does glow green under UV light due to its Manganese content typical in older glassware.

It measures 9 3/4" wide, 4 3/4" high, and weighs 1 pounds 13 ounces.  It is in excellent condition for it's 100+ year old age, with no cracks or chips and a few scratches as pictured.
