Antique John B Higbee Banner Clear Pressed Glass 9 Inch Pedestal Cake Stand with Scalloped Lip, Vintage EAPG Pastry Dessert Display Plate

This antique pedestal cake stand with rim was made by the John B. Higbee Glass Company in their Banner pattern, introduced in 1909.  It features a button and cane floral design on the top and base (raised underneath), scalloped lip edge, with a faceted pedestal.  It does glow green under UV light due to its Manganese content typical in older glassware.

It measures 9" wide, 4 3/8" high, and weighs 1 pounds 9 ounces.  It is good vintage condition for its 100+ year old age, with no cracks, one small chip on the underside of the base, and some scratches / wear marks as pictured.  Please see all photos for condition details.
