It's not often you come across a piece of glass that creates a scene without additional modification, much less two! These two complementary pieces of Youghiogheny art glass create a luminous mountain scene in gorgeous shades of green, amber, and brown. I have shaped them into similar arched shapes and framed them in zinc came and soldered foil, with permanent hangers installed into the frames for hanging. The framing and solder is silver colored but will look darker in a lighted window. Please be sure to view all photos, as the glass will look very different with and without light behind it.
They are being sold as a set, but please note--they are not exactly the same size. Their measurements are as follows:
Left one is 12 1/4" wide x 9 1/4 tall
Right one is 12 3/4" wide x 9 1/4 tall
While they look great displayed together, you can choose to display them separately if that works better for your space.
Note that there are striations, bubbles, divots, and creases in each piece which are characteristic of all Youghiogheny glass, and add to their uniqueness. I've tried to show some in the close up photos.
