This stunning cranberry glass cut crystal whiskey decanter was made by the renowned West German company Nachtmann in their Traube pattern in the 1960's. The pictures don't do this piece justice. There is a cut crystal star design on two sides and an etched grape cluster and leaf design on the alternating two sides. It measures 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" wide at the widest point, and weighs just over 2 pounds.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, but it is missing the clear glass stopper. There are two small anomalies on one side of the piece which I am not sure if they are chips or bubbles in the glass. Please see all photos for condition details. This beautiful decanter sells for $400 complete with the stopper, so I am offering it at a significant discount without it. You could purchase a functional replacement stopper that would fit it.
In addition to using it as a decanter, it would also make a gorgeous flower vase or display piece!
